3 weeks agoAmazing brisket and ribs. Fresh homemade smoked Cajun sausage , and fresh delicious boudin .I enjoy the spicy.the soul food,oxtails so tender and juicy.fried okra. Addicting corn nuggets. And you have to save room for the fresh homemade dessert s the staff is so very welcoming and pleasent and happy to take your order. And I made sure to join the rewards program just by putting my number in the pos system.I dined in and had the opportunity to watch an old Western movie.the restaurant is very clean and also is handicap friendly.has outdoor dining available.

3 weeks agoJust Passing Thru BBQ is great. The food is very good. We had the brisket, loaded potatoes and loaded fries and we tried the Soulfood (Oxtail). As a Jamaican, I can say with absolute certainty that the Oxtail is well done. Rick the server was friendly and courteous and introduced us to the various food options. He even gave us a sample when we were in doubt. Restaurant is clean but seating is limited. As the name suggests “Just Passing Through”. Definitely 10/10

2 months agoBrisket was so tender, juicy and flavorful. The ribs fall off the bone & the boudin is so good. We have found our new favorite spot.

3 months agoThis was our first time coming to Just Passing Thru and Miss Joyce was very friendly and gave us her recommendations. I will definitely be back! The food was amazing and portions are huge! Save room for desserts the banana pudding cake was fire!

4 months agoWhen I tell you words just don’t do it justice I mean it. You just can’t find this kind of atmosphere and flavor around anymore . No matter what I’ve ordered on the menu, I have been blown away by the quality and affordability of the food and service. Big shout out to barbecue Rick for throwing it down in the kitchen. 10 out of 10 highly recommend!!!

5 months agoI’m a brisket snob and I love this brisket! He was so passionate about how well he did he had me try it before I left with my to go order! Definitely will keep coming back!

Edited a month agoI was just passing by, and I'm so glad I did! Best BBQ, I had in a long time, and I am eating this double lemon cake right now that I got to go, and this cake tops my mommas! YUM!, and it's a really cool place inside, and the Manager was so Nice!, I visited here again and this time, I got BBQ Chicken, The Leg Quarter plate with 2 sides I chose baked beans 🫘 and green beans. My Chicken was so moist and tender and packed with so much BBQ flavor! I love the baked beans too, they are the sweet kind with bacon 🥓. THE Green beans are also yummy, the taste like Southern homemade good. For Dessert, which I highly recommend, I got Strawberry Lemon cake. I also hear the banana pudding 🍮 cake is VERY DELICIOUS! ALL the meat here is DELICIOUS! BBQ Ric is THE BEST!
